Guess The Ground

Can you name the ground from the air?

Five aerial photographs, six clubs to pick from each time, and a picture opening on a tight crop that widens each time you ask. Around 150 English and Scottish grounds are in the deck — some photographed years ago, showing stands that no longer stand.

How it works

Each round opens on a tiny piece of an aerial photograph — a corner of roof, a stand, a car park. Name the club from as little as you can.

  • Five rounds, six clubs to choose from each time.
  • There is no clock. Take as long as you like on any round.
  • Ask to see more of the photograph and the round is worth less: 10 points, then 8, 6, 4 and 2 for the whole picture.
  • A correct answer scores whatever the round is worth. A wrong one costs the same.

Every month one player on the leaderboard is picked at random to win a framed Clubs From Above print of your club. Entry is free. Prize draw terms.
